Job Description

Job Summary: As a Housekeeping Attendant at SpringHill Suites Cheraw, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guests during their stay. You will be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance of the hotel, as well as individual guest rooms, through proper cleaning and restocking procedures. This is a full-time, hourly position located in Cheraw, South Carolina and will report to the Housekeeping Manager. Compensation & Benefits: The compensation for this role ranges from $10 to $12 per hour, paid biweekly. As a full-time employee, you will also be eligible for the following benefits:

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain the cleanliness of guest rooms according to hotel standards, including changing linens, making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities.
• Ensure public areas of the hotel, such as hallways and lobby, are clean and tidy.
• Stock and maintain housekeeping carts and storage closets with supplies and amenities.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Housekeeping Manager.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and complaints.
• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor while interacting with guests.
• Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
• Complete assigned deep cleaning tasks on a rotating basis.
• Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning and organization procedures.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products and chemicals.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with guests and team members in a professional and friendly manner.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
