Our team is composed of skilled professionals dedicated to excellence and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in-home services and repairs and a commitment to safety and quality. This role involves assessing properties for radon levels, installing mitigation systems, handyman repairs, and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations. Compensation Package • Hourly: $18 - $25 DOE • Training Provided • Mileage Reimbursement (Monthly) • Company Credit Card for expenses (Excludes gas) • 401(k) Profit Sharing (Eligible after 1 year) • Health Coverage Plan (Eligible after 90 days of employment) • Vacation: 5 days after one year of employment, max bank 240 hrs.  • Personal Time: 5 days per year (No accrual)  • Sick Time: 40 hrs per year (Max 80 hrs accrual) Responsibilities: Regular Work Activities • Home Repairs and Service Calls • Initial consultation and inspection • Assessment and planning • Mitigation Activities • Post-Mitigation Activities • Client education and system maintenance • Regular Maintenance and Follow-Up • Radon retesting • Administrative Tasks • Documentation and reporting • Client communication Area of Responsibility (AOR)• Radon Mitigation • Home Services and Repairs • Equipment Installation • System Monitoring • Client Communication • Safety Compliance Qualifications: Training and Experience • Experience in radon mitigation or a related field would be advantageous but not required • Proficiency in handling relevant tools and equipment • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail • Effective communication skills and a customer-oriented approach • Physical fitness and the ability to perform tasks associated with mitigation installations • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation • Any certifications or licenses related to radon mitigation are a plus but not required Key Skills • Be teachable/coachable • Strong attention to detail • Strong verbal communication skills • Exceptional organizational skills • Well-developed empathy for working with stressed clients • Ability to actively listen and remain calm under pressure in confrontational situations • Ability to interpret and analyze data About Company: Horizon Point Inspection is a reputable home inspection company based in Cincinnati, Dayton, and Northern Kentucky.
