Job Description

Our client is an industry leading iGaming Slot Studios, that is looking for an Art Director for the studio based in Las Vegas. This is a full-time, remote, role, but must be based in Nevada or Texas!

As the Art Director, you will:

• Create and oversee other artists in the creation of high-quality characters and environments aligned with product specifications.
• Navigate the creative process of the game from concept to completion
• Lead production of all art assets for both in-game and marketing.
• Serve as the first point of contact by actively participating in design meetings, providing recommendations and feedback, and delegating tasks as needed.
• Manage asset list and creates concept art based on game designer's instructions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure translation of objectives into clear creative strategies.
• Communicate frequently and provides support to other artists as needed to ensure feedback is interpreted correctly and deadlines are met
• Ensure that visual communication and brand standards are met.
• Present strategies and solutions to upper management.
• Reviews work, troubleshoots and provides feedback to creative teams.
• Proactively identifies opportunities and presents ideas or suggestions to improve the operation of the business.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in art, design or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years experience creating art packages in slot or video game industry.
• Portfolio of previous work that displays an ability to turn ideas into compelling games.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge in any 3D software and Spine a plus.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the game development process.
